The Forbidden Paradise

I believe, writing is a peaceful milieu, where you don’t need to restrict your mind from expressing your ideas.

So, for the whole world, Kashmir is known for its beauty and it’s called as,the “Paradise on Earth”.To my mind, Paradise is a huge word, a word that is synonymous to peace and stability ,and is a place of exceptional happiness and delight and keeping this view in mind, the word is quite not apt for the Kashmir.

It’s a big wonder, nobody is clear , when it comes about understanding Kashmir. Another wonder, what is Kashmir?

A battleground or a symptom of Hindu Pak rivalry, or a stolen land, or a centre for cross border terrorism, actually it’s all these and much more but calling it a paradise will not be the justice to the word paradise itself.

The need of the hour is to rise above yesterday, above hostility, and above intransigence. Why not call a spade a spade, When you call Kashmir a paradise on earth(a feminine word to my mind), may I let you know that it is through the doors of this paradise that we are writhing with pain in the raging fire of hell.

The people of the world, to which they call the paradise is actually the forbidden place on earth, known for its bloodshed where there is no privilege, and tranquility .

So, What paradise? Which Paradise? Whose paradise?
